About this page

The Leader Gambling Foundation is an independent non-profit dedicated to advancing transparency and algorithmic fairness in the global gambling ecosystem. Our legal framework is intentionally simple, open and technology-neutral to support verifiable audits and public oversight.

We do not operate gambling; we audit it. References to regulators and standards are contextual and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Terms of Use

Scope. These Terms govern access to leadergfl.org and our public repositories, APIs and reports.

• No guarantee. Audits are performed on a best-effort technical basis and published for transparency. We do not warrant operator performance or outcomes.
• Fair use. You may link to our pages and cite our reports with attribution. Do not misrepresent affiliation or certification status.
• Prohibited use. Do not bypass technical controls, harvest personal data, or use our name/seal in a misleading way.
• Changes. We may update these Terms and will version changes on this page.

Privacy Policy

Data minimization. We collect only what is necessary to operate the website, run audits and publish transparency reports.

• Website telemetry. Basic logs (IP truncated/hashed, user-agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.
• Contact forms/emails. Messages sent to cert@leadergfl.org or compliance@leadergfl.org are retained for audit trail and response.
• Open-data. Technical metrics we publish are pseudonymized/aggregated (e.g., per-game RTP, payout distributions). We do not expose player-identifying data.
• Legal basis. Legitimate interests (security, transparency), consent where required, and compliance with applicable AML/GDPR obligations.
• Your rights. Access/rectification or objections: privacy@leadergfl.org.

License

1) Foundation code & tooling

Unless stated otherwise, our reference implementations, scripts and SDKs are released under the Apache License, Version 2.0 (SPDX: Apache-2.0). We follow widely adopted open-source standards that prioritize transparency, interoperability and open auditability. See each repository’s LICENSE and NOTICE files.

2) Documentation & transparency data

Unless stated otherwise, public documentation and non-personal datasets are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). Attribute “Leader Gambling Foundation” with a link to the source page or dataset.

3) Operator audit deliverables

Individual operator reports may carry additional confidentiality or embargo markings agreed with the operator/regulator. Public summaries remain under CC BY 4.0.

Trademark & Audit Seal Use

• Marks. “Leader Gambling Foundation”, “LeaderGFL” and the shield-circuit icon are trademarks of Leader Gambling Foundation OÜ.
• Seal. Certified operators may display the LeaderGFL audit seal by embedding /seal.js with their operator ID and a valid signature. The seal must link to the public certificate page for that operator.
• Revocation. Non-conformities or misleading use may result in suspension or revocation of the seal. We maintain a public revocation list.
• No endorsement. Use of our marks must not imply partnership, regulatory approval or endorsement beyond the scope of the certificate.

Responsible Gambling & Age

• Gambling is restricted to adults under applicable local laws. Operators must implement age/identity checks (KYC) and responsible-gambling controls.
• We audit technical conformance and publish aggregated indicators; we do not provide gambling services.
